3rd Week - Friday 31st October - THE TRIAL OF SAURON

Witnesses for the prosecution and defence will be cross-examined. Galadriel, Elrond, even Sauron himself.... unless you've read all Tolkien's writings, not just Lord Of The Rings, some things about their pasts may surprise you!

Meet at Magdalen Bridge, near the slipway to the boathouse on the Magdalen College side of the bridge at 7.30pm

There is more than meets the eye to many Tolkien passages. Bring along your favourite enigmatic bit from Tolkien's writings for some more serious literary discussion and interpretation.
