***2nd Week - Friday 21st October - THE TRIAL OF MORGOTH

Christ Church LR2 - 7.45 for 8 PM

Come along and be the jury at the trial of Sauron's master. The verdict is no foregone conclusion: at a previous trial, one of our star lawyers got Sauron himself acquitted!

***2nd Week - Saturday 22nd October - TOLKIEN'S OXFORD WALK

Meet at Christ Church lodge - 3 PM

A guided walk round Oxford, pointing out Tolkien-related and other landmarks, and finishing at the Eagle & Child, meeting place of the Inklings.

***3rd Week - Thursday 27th October - DRAMATIC READINGS

Christ Church LR2 - 8 PM

Our own versions of some favourite scenes from The Hobbit, rehearsed and read aloud on the night. All are invited to participate!

3rd Week - Friday 28 th October - GANDALF'S FIREWORKS PARTY

Meet at Christ Church lodge - 7 PM

A fireworks party taking place in Middle Earth. Watch out for the Surprise! Only £3 to members.

4th Week - Thursday 3rd November - PRATCHETT NIGHT

4th Week - Friday 4th November - CREATIVE WRITING
