First Week - Friday 30th April - PARTY
Celebrate the Eve of May Morning (and Alex's graduation) at Russ's house.
Second Week - Friday 7th May - CULTUREMOOT
We will be going to see Aida at the Apollo Theatre. If you are interested in attending, please contact Andrew to reserve a ticket.
Third Week - Friday 14th May - SPEAKER MEETING
Colin Duriez, author of books about Tolkien and Lewis, will be speaking about the friendship between Tolkien and C.S. Lewis.
Fourth Week - Friday 21st May - GAMES EVENING
Games, including Golfimbul if the weather is good.
Fifth Week - Sunday 23rd May - PRACTISE PUNT MOOT
Learn to punt, if you haven't already, to be prepared for the last meeting of the year. If anyone can get college punts for free can they please tell the committee where the punts start. The more punts we can get hold of, the better.
Fifth Week - Friday 28th May - SPEAKER MEETING
"Don't worry, we'll get a speaker"..."How?"..."I don't know, it's a mystery!"
Sixth Week - Sunday 30th May - JOINT QUEST
Come and search Shotover hill for clues (or be a clue) with the Arthurian Society.
Sixth Week - Friday 4th June - STRAWBERRY PARTY
Hopefully will be held in the Cathedral Garden's, Christ Church. More details later.
Seventh Week - Friday 11th June - PUBMOOT
Meet at Somerville lodge at 7:15 pm, so that we can choose where to go. Weather depending, this will probably be either the Perch in Binsey, across Port Meadow, or the Royal Oak, opposite Somerville.
Seventh Week - Saturday 12th June, Sunday 13th June - TOLKIEN SOCIETY SEMINAR
This will be hosted by Minas Tirith, the Cambridge Tolkien Society. On the Sunday, there will be a puntmoot on the Cam. Anyone wishing to go to either the full event, or just the punting, should contact Andrew.
Eighth Week - Friday 19th June - DROGO MEMORIAL PUNT PARTY
The traditional end of year event, where everyone uses skills learned earlier in term so as not to emulate the famous casualty.
Ninth Week - sometime - WALKING TRIP
