I am a Senior Lecturer in Philosophy at the University of the West of England, in Bristol, and a member of Wolfson College, Oxford.
Before joining UWE in 2007 I worked as Assistant Editor for the Ancient Commentators on Aristotle project at King's College London and held a Junior Research Fellowship at Wolfson College, Oxford.
Research Interests
I have broad research interests in the history of philosophy, from antiquity to the seventeenth century. That's very broad, so more specifically most of my work to date has been on Stoicism and the reception of Stoicism in the 16th and 17th centuries. [More ...]
