Welcome to the Wycliffe Hall School of
Preaching

To preach is, possibly, the noblest
of callings.
As the Apostle Paul reflected on the
future
appearing of Christ, he spoke about the urgency
of his role: ‘Since, then, we know what it is to
fear the Lord, we try to persuade men.’ (2 Corinthians 5:11)
However preaching today is ridiculed
and often affords little attention or interest.
Preachers need all the help they can get. Much good
work is already being done to support preachers and we
are delighted to commend other organisations, and
recognise that the Proclamation Trust in England and
Langham Preachers around the world already do a great
job. Sydney Missionary Bible College does this job well
and the Evangelical Homiletics Society provides great
support for those who teach preaching. (see Links for
details of external sites)
