Adrian founded the Oxford Animal Flight Group in 1996 and leads work on Fluid Dynamics. He is Professor of Biomechanics and a University Lecturer and Tutorial Fellow at Lady Margaret Hall. <Homepage>
Dr Graham K. Taylor
Graham joined the Animal Flight Group in 1998 and leads a team working on Flight Dynamics and Control. He holds an RCUK Academic Fellowship, and is the Peter Brunet Fellow and Tutor at Jesus College. <Homepage>

Dr Richard J. Bomphrey
Richard joined the Flight Group in 2000 and leads a team working on Insect Flight Aerodynamics. He holds an EPSRC Career Acceleration Fellowship and is a Fellow at St Anne's College. <Homepage>

Dr Anna C. Carruthers
Anna joined the Flight Group in 2006 as a post-doctoral research assistant having recently completed a PhD in Engineering. From 2007, Anna held a Royal Commission for the Exhibition of 1851 Brunel Research Fellowship working on engineering applications of bird flight. She is currently working as a post-doctoral research assistant on the aerodynamics and control of flight in birds of prey with Graham Taylor. <Homepage>
Per joined the group in 2010 as a post-doctoral research assistant working with Richard Bomphrey on the aerodynamics of insect flight.<Homepage>
Dr Simon M. Walker
Simon joined the Flight Group in 2003 as a D.Phil. student working on insect wing kinematics with Adrian Thomas and Graham Taylor. He is now a post-doctoral research assistant working on insect flight control with Graham Taylor. <Homepage>

Dr Richard Sale
Richard joined the flight group in 2010 working on the flight behaviour of gyrfalcons. He is the author of a monograph on this species, and is linked to the department as a Senior Research Associate.
Dr R. B. Srygley
Bob joined the Flight Group in 1998 working on the aerodynamics of insect flight with Adrian Thomas. He remains linked with the Flight Group as a departmental Research Associate.
