Research Interests
- Targeted drug delivery, especially that based on sugar or glycoprotein.
- Biodegradable polymer drug delivery system.
- Stimuli responsive hydrogel.
- Particulate drug delivery system: liposomes, microemulsion, selfemusifying system.
- Delivery of peptides and proteins by oral, buccal, nasal and pulmonary administration; mechanism of transport of peptides containing nanoparticle across the epithelia of GIT and other mucosal membrane; transdermal drug delivery.
- Novel liposomes with greatly improved stability and high entrapment efficiency especially of water-soluble agents.
