Madam Madman only ever recorded a few seminal numbers. All tracks were recorded on 2-track tape and the only instruments used were a cardboard box (the box that the tape came in), a pen, a triangle, an alarm clock and a cheap Spanish guitar. Fortunately Madman, in one of his saner moments, managed to utilise the 2-track as an echo unit and a distortion box giving all tracks what is known in the business as bollox.

The Satsuma influence in both the titles was never explained.
