The ImageJ macro LesionSizeCalculator was created to estimate the size of disseminated disease in patients with advanced ovarian cancer by using image snapshots from laparoscopic videos.



To install the macro in ImageJ, select PLUGIN->MACROS->INSTALL and select the macro file. To run the macro select PLUGIN->MACROS->LESIONSIZECALCULATOR

The macro LesionSizeCalculator is used to select an image corresponding to a laparoscopic video snapshot and to estimate the size of a lesion.

The macro provides step-by-step instructions on how to do the analysis. 

The macro is described in the publication "A novel optical bioimaging method for direct assessment of ovarian cancer chemotherapy response at laparoscopy".



The macro RestoreLesionSelection is used to visualise a previously drawn contour of the lesion. 

This is done by opening a metadata file (which is saved by the LesionSizeCalculator macro). The macro then draws the contour on the original image.
