ExoMol Ammonia k-tables

This page contains new ktables generated from the new ExoMol CoYuTe line data for ammonia reported by: Coles et al. (2018), Improved potential energy surface and spectral assignments for ammonia in the near-infrared region. J. Quant. Spec. Radiat. Transf., 219, 199 - 212. doi:10.1016/j.jqsrt.2018.07.022, and Coles et al. (2019), An improved variationally computed line list for hot NH3. MNRAS, 490, 4638 - 4647. doi:10.1093/mnras/stz2778

These data have been converted to a k-table for use in modelling VLT/MUSE observations as reported by Irwin et al. (2019), Analysis of gaseous ammonia (NH3) absorption in the visible spectrum of Jupiter - Update, Icarus, 321, 572 - 582. doi:10.1016/j.icarus.2018.12.008

The k-table has been tabulated from 0.4 - 1.0 micron, with a step of 0.001 micron and a FWHM (triangular line shape) of 0.002 micron. Note, however, that the ExoMol line data only extend down to 0.5 microns.

The file (28 MB) of the fitted k-table is contained here .
