The City of Oxford Rowing Club was founded in 1968 following the amalgamation of Neptune RC (1863) and Hannington RC (1904), and is affiliated to the Amateur Rowing Association. It is based in a modern boathouse situated on the Isis. Racing colours are red, white and Oxford blue.

The club has active Men's and Women's Senior and Veteran squads, a Beginners' squad, and a thriving Junior squad, funded by Project Oarsome. It is also the base for Oxford Adaptive Rowing. The facilities include a spacious bar which is open to active and social members and available for private functions.
CORC runs two major events in the rowing calendar. The Oxford City Royal Regatta is held in August and features the popular Corporate Eights Challenge and the OAR Invitation Adaptive Sculls, as well as A.R.A Open events. The Oxford City Bumping Races, the only bumping races in the country open to crews from all clubs, are held in September.

New members of any age or standard, as those wishing to learn to row, are welcome to join the club at any time.
For more information, or details of the next  beginners' course contact the Club Captain Amy Jackson Tel. 01865 390494.
