IN THE RED ... BLUE AND WHITE
Perhaps it's the time of year, but rowing keeps creeping up in odd places in the mainstream media, with the latest subjects for the glossy mag treatment being the the boys from City of Oxford.   Striking a blow for rowing, the CORC boys appear in the October edition of wimmin's mag Red, alongside a lissom model wearing her autumn wardrobe.....
The crew has notched up 11 wins this season between them, taking them from novice to Senior 2, which may go someway to explaining why the stylists and photographers were extremely impressed with their "athletic prowess"... Though the slug has it in good faith, that they've er... been told by their coach to "shift some lard before next season" or else.
