mailing list supplies a free-speech channel, but please do not abuse it. Every user is responsible for his or her message(s). We do *NOT* welcome any junk mails, chain mails, or any personally offensive mails. One who disobeys the rule will be removed of the CSCST-UK mailing list IMMEDIATELY!
Please
register online. The old way by
sending email no longer works. Because this mailing list is for the benefit of Chinese students or scholars in Oxford, we suppose anyone who wants to subscribe this mailing list have an Oxford email address. So please do use your university email address to subscribe the mailing list.
Still
do it online by deleting yourself if
you have registered your membership. Otherwise, please send an email to CSCST-UK-unsubscribe@yahoogroups.com with the message body "unsubscribe CSCST-UK". Please note, however, that to unsubscribe an old address of yours other than the one from which you are sending the request, you need to give your old email address: "unsubscribe CSCST-UK Your_Old_Address".
Once you have subscribed to the CSCST-UK list, you are able to send messages to all members on the list. Your messages should be sent to CSCST-UK@yahoogroups.com.

Failed to send emails?
If you haven't registered,
please do so. If you have, the problem comes from using a different
email address. According to the settings of the
mailing, anybody who has registered can send emails to the
mailing without any further approval, however, this doesn't mean that you
can use email addresses other than the one you have registered to do so.
Please note, two email addresses are considered identical by the
mailing list only when they are having exactly the same words.
abc@ox.ac.uk != abc@oxford.ac.uk
With this in mind, if you would have failed to send emails to CSCST-UK in the future
and you believe that you have registered your membership, please go to
the CSCST-UK website and find out your registered email address by using the
"search" function. Then you need either change your registered address online,
or change your email address when sending your emails and try again.
Please make sure to whom you want to reply before you reply a message by choosing either reply-to-sender or the entire list. *IMPORTANT*: Don't reply to "CSCST-UK@yahoogroups.com" if you don't want your message to be received by all the members on the list! Choose "reply-to-Sender" instead.
