(1) I recognize that climbing and mountaineering are activities with a danger of personal injury or death. I am aware of and accept these risks and will be responsible for my own actions and involvement.
(2) I agree to read and follow the OUMC Procedures, safety advice in the Club's risk assessment and BMC insurance information, all three documents being available from the Club website
here.
(3) I understand that the OUMC does not tolerate harassment in any form as defined by the
Oxford University harassment policy.
(4) Before each club activity, I will inform relevant members of the committee of any medication, allergies, injuries or other medical conditions that may affect the safety of others or my ability to participate fully in the sport on that day.
Here at the OUMC we take the privacy of our members data seriously and will only use your personal information for club administration purposes (including supplying relevant information to Oxford University) and for communicating with you about your membership. As a BMC-affiliated club we will provide your name, contact details and date of birth to the BMC to administer your membership of the BMC including your combined liability insurance cover. The BMC will use your data to communicate with you about your membership. The BMC will contact you to invite you to create a 'Member Profile' which, amongst other things, allows you to set and amend your privacy settings.
