All subjects that overlap with the research interests of the Fellows.

 

Accommodation type

Graduates normally offered a single room for up to three years of the period of fee liability to the University. A very limited amount of married accommodation is available.

Currently £8.86 to £10.27

College awards for graduate study

EK Chambers Studentship (English) up to 3 years, full fees and a maintenance grant, some dining rights. 

Garside Scholarship (Mathematics), usually awarded biennially for up to 2 years.

Charles Oldham Scholarship (Classics) up to 3 years awarded approximately every 3 years.

Senior Scholarship awarded for 1 year to Corpus student in their final year of funding.

Travel and book grants also available.

 

College continuation charges

Currently £50 per term following the completion of 3 years fees after fee liability ends up to submission of thesis.

 

Corpus Christi College, founded in 1517 is centrally placed just south of the High Street.  With excellent facilities, including a computer suite and a particularly fine Library, it offers a stimulating environment for graduate study.

 

The College combines a high intellectual reputation with a friendly community life. Each graduate is assigned a Fellow as a College Adviser.  College takes a keen interest in students’ research and monitors their progress closely.

 

There are termly Adviser lunches. Graduates are also invited to join Fellows for lunch on Mondays and for special dinners.

 

Science Seminars provide a forum for informal talks and the Centre for the Study of Greek and Roman Antiquity hosts seminars that provide a focus for classics students and others.

 

The MCR Committee organises frequent entertainments, theatre trips, guest dinners etc.  Sporting facilities are shared with the JCR along with a television room, music room, laundry and beer cellar.
