COBUILD - English Collocations on CD-ROM

Description: The CD-ROM gives access to 140,000 English collocations (that is, frequent word combinations), with 2.6 million real examples of collocations in context. Examples come from the Collins COBUILD Bank of English corpus. There are a total of over 10,000 headwords with up to 20 collocates per headword; frequencies and statistical data are given for all collocations. Results of searches can be saved or copied into other documents.

Requirements: PC running Windows 3.1 or above, with at least 4 MB RAM and a CD-ROM drive.
