ISSN Compact

Description: The ISSN is universally accepted as the prime means of identifying serials. The ISSN Register on CD-ROM provides records of more than 730,000 periodicals from 180 countries in 144 languages, with over 40,000 new entries and 60,000 updates per year. It also includes the List of Serial Title Word Abbreviations. It is possible to search the complete database by ISSN, key title, Universal Decimal Classification, Dewey, place of publication, publisher, series, country, language etc. It is published quarterly on one CD-ROM, in February, May, August and November. Each issue fully cumulates the file and replaces the previous disc. Subscriptions may begin with any issue.

Requirements: PC running MS-DOS 3.1 or higher with CD-ROM drive.
