Description: The Voyager Macbeth is a multimedia presentation of Shakespeare's Macbeth. The text of the play (edited by A. R. Braunmuller) is supplemented with an introduction, information on the characters, scene by scene commentaries, and a selection of essays. In addition, there are selected excerpts from the films of the play by Akira Kurosawa, Roman Polanski, and Orsen Welles. The tools section of the CD-ROM includes a record of the editorial changes made to the edition of the text, and a concordance index of spoken words. A complete audio perfomance (RSC) accompanies the text. Further interaction with the text us made possible by the inclusion of a 'Macbeth Karake' for two scenes (playing either Lady or Lord Macbeth).
