The Electronic Monumenta Germaniae Historica

Description: The Monumenta Germania Historica consists of over 360 volumes divided into five series and thirty-three sub-series. The entire corpus covers the widest possible range of medieval documentation. The publication of the electronic edition has been undertaken by Brepols in collaboration with the MGH management in Munich. The electronic edition has a similar interface to the CLCLT and the ACLL. The prototype (eMGH-1) contains a range of material (for example, works from Additamenta ad Isidori Historias, Aethicus Ister, Annales Fuldenses, Hincmarus Remensis, Isidorus Hispalensis); eMGH-2 will focus on texts published in Auctores antiquissimi and Scriptores rerum Merovingicarum. The search engine allows for queries by series, collection, author, or title.

Requirements: PC running DOS 5.0+ with at least 4MB RAM and CD-ROM drive.
