  1. A great pile of rotting food has been dumped in the middle of this room in a manner that would be gauranteed to attract vermin. It seems to have worked: the area is dotted with really large rat droppings. Clearly the food was placed here in a premedidated attempt to attract the creatures.
  2. I am in a dungeon. The walls here glow faintly green and yellow with the soft light from phosphorescent moss and plantlife amid the cracks and furrows in the irregular walls and ceiling. The air is moist and damp and there is the faint smell of mildew all around me. It's slightly chilly too, but not too cold. My breath clouds the air before me as my footsteps echo in the darkness ahead.
  3. I looked around. This room has bare, plaster walls on which someone has scrawled the message: "Downward, ever downward my dread lords. Those from above will not find us in the deep places and we will thrive in the captivity of darkness until our time comes to take back the artist's city. So, co my lords, deeper ever deeper."
  4. I look Around. The confortable looking beds that once filled this room have been broken up to mak numerous simple pallets. Draperies have been torn down and bundled in one corner and a once rich carpet has been torn up the fabric used to stuff what looks like very uncomfortable mattresses.
