Lower Egypt

Opposite to what you would think, lower Egypt is actually in the north! Due to its lower elevation, the delta, its called floods from mountains in the south.

King Tut's Sarcophagus This is a bit larger than life size and made of wood covered in gold leaf and semi-precious stones. He was buried in 4 layers of gold sarcophagi and his tomb was considered relatively small.

Pyramids and Sphinx in Giza An interesting little fact, the nose on the Sphinx is missing because when Napolean conquered Egypt his soldiers used it for target practice!
