2316 POTTLE John b. ........       -d. before 1763

     m.Elizabeth WYNN of Oxford; she died at Dean Ct. in

     1728. She was daughter of John WYNN who kept the

     notorious 'Catherine Wheel' outside Balliol Coll. She       

     was thought by Thomas Hearne to be 'a pretty body'. She

     died of a miscarriage.

     m.(2) Sarah HARDING, widow, at N.Hinksey Apr.5,

     1743.  1742: took lease of farm (now 89 Eynsham

     Rd) opp. Dean Ct Fm. He became a university beadle.

     Son John d.1760. Sarah died 1775
