            Chawley tithing. Note farm later known as 'Sweatman's'.

            Note family in Oxford 1086, including Swetman the Moneyer;

            he minted coins for Wm II, a hoard of 119 found at Beaworth,

            Hants, with 'Swetman on OXI' on reverse.   Note also Edward

            Swetman, apprentice, in Cheyney Lane,Oxford in 1667 Poll

            Tax; and c.1275 John Swetman villein at Caldecott,Northants,

            in Abingdon Abbey Charter C131. Being researched by
