An artist's romanticised sketch c.1846 of the old 'Vine', which stood in the High Street, across from the Vicarage, from the 16C till its demolition c.1850.  After the publication od Scott's 'Kenilworth', its name was changed to the 'Jolly Black Bear' to meet tourists' expectations.
