Dan was born and raised all over the world, before eventually settling in England and studying at Oxford, yet he still doesn't seem to have mastered the art of knowing when enough is enough! His research focuses on the modification of peptides and proteins, through the addition nucleophiles at dehydroalanine residues. Interests outside the lab include rowing, cycling, teaching, mechanics, mathematics, and last but not least, Raouls.
