Mitul Patel received his MChem in Chemistry from the University of Oxford in 2007. Having conducted his Part II project in the Davis group, he stayed on to pursue a DPhil. Mitul works on various aspects of carbohydrate Chemistry, focusing on the synthesis of trehalose analogues and phosphate esters. He is the recipient of the Alister French Award for Machine Maintenance 2009. Mitul enjoys playing squash in his spare time.
