Research Interests

  1. Targeted drug delivery, especially that based on sugar or glycoprotein.
  2. Biodegradable polymer drug delivery system.
  3. Stimuli responsive hydrogel.
  4. Particulate drug delivery system: liposomes, microemulsion, selfemusifying system.
  5. Delivery of peptides and proteins by oral, buccal, nasal and pulmonary administration; mechanism of transport of peptides containing nanoparticle across the epithelia of GIT and other mucosal membrane; transdermal drug delivery.
  6. Novel liposomes with greatly improved stability and high entrapment efficiency especially of water-soluble agents.
