9th September 2003: "Watching the brain at work"

Professor Paul Matthews, director of the Oxford unit for the Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging of the Brain, is an expert in watching the brain and the way it changes as we read, think, and talk.

Author of the book Bard on the Brain, Matthews will introduce us to the science of brain imaging, and what we can learn from it of how this extraordinary organ really works.
