'98-'99 North West Women's Squad

The '98 - '99 North West Region Women's Squad will be selected this autumn ata number of events, by Helen Mangan former Great Britain squad member, nowchair of the North West Rowing Council, and Neville Orme, coach of GrosvenorRowng Club women's squad, and Director of Rowing at King's School Chester.

Selection will be made from entrants in the following events:

North Of England Long Distance Sculls, Chester on October 3rd
Runcorn Head, Runcorn 17th October
Dee Autumn Head, Chester October 24th
And by entrants in three open trials:
Sunday October 25th
Sunday November 29th
Sunday December 20th

Start at 11.00 meet Grosvenor Rowing Club, 24 The Groves, Chester. LeadCoach Neville Orme.
'Coaches who feel that their athletes have the potential to compete in theInter Regional Competition, please come forward. It will be a necessarypart of the process for coaches to be involved in these training days.There will be a nominal charge to cover petrol for launches. '

The selected crew will be coached by Neville Orme in Chester, and take partin the Inter Regional regatta to be held in Nottingham in April.
