Toby Cheetham is a technician working within the exploratory science group at Unilever's Port Sunlight Research facility. Over the past few years he has worked on many data visualisation and analysis problems ranging from 3D imaging and other classical scientific visualisation problems, to the visualisation of business and consumer data.
He has developed demonstrator applications in AVS/Express, Gsharp and OpenViz. He occasionally has to perform maintenance on Unix machines, and more often gets angry with Windows NT.
Amongst other tasks he is at present working on the CONTENTS EU project, investigating the application of ActiveX component technologies in interactive visualisation documents.
