• page 220: RHS of (20.48) should be multiplied by μ₀g
• page 246: 2nd line of (22.5) N₁ to N!
• page 262: (23.2) 3rd line e^α should be e^x
• page 272: first line should be g(ω)=(2L/πa)[4K/m-ω²]^-1/2
• page 272: eqn 24.36: term square brackets [...] should be [...]^1/2
• page 272: eqn 24.37: qa should be qa/2
• page 272: eqn 24.38: 4K should be 4
• page 279: delete 2 in the numerator in eqn 25.32
• page 296: (26.1) insert "at V_c" after "van der Waals gas"
• page 333: first n_j in the denominator of eqn 29.31 should be n_j! In eqn 29.35 denominator should be n_j!(g_j-1)!
