Gunnar completed his Bachelors in Economics and Development Studies at Sussex University. He has studied further in International Economics and Econometrics, and worked for Senechal, Jorgenson, Hale & Co, in agricultural consulting.
He hopes to put his knowledge of economics and development issues to use implementing the Silk Group's new technologies for sericulture and silk production, and to develop Life Cycle Analysis models for the sector, to allow quantifiable statements on the sustainability of silks, and their development impact.
