I am Associate Professor in Linguistics at the Faculty of Linguistics, Philology and Phonetics at the University of Oxford, Tutorial Fellow in Linguistics at Somerville College, and Lecturer in Linguistics at St Hugh's College. I received my PhD from the University of Manchester in 2007, where I subsequently took up a Faculty of Humanities Research Fellowship as well as a British Academy Postdoctoral Fellowship, which was also held at the University of Oxford.
