Understanding chloroplast protein homeostasis

The Jarvis Lab investigates how chloroplasts and other plastids develop and function in plant cells. We focus in particular on the molecular mechanisms governing chloroplast protein import and chloroplast protein degradation, and the importance of these processes for plant growth and development.
