Choosing a College

To help Materials Science applicants find the college most suited to them, the Materials Society has compiled the following information*. We suggest you first compare the colleges side-by-side in the 'at a glance' table. Even if you choose not to study Materials at Oxford, this page should give you a few things to think about and some ideas for questions to ask on department or university open-days.

Materials Science is offered as a course at seven Oxford colleges. These are (in alphabetical order):
