Bong - Exercises
Staff training begins with a set of Control Exercises. These are
designed to familiarise practioners with the handling characteristics of
a long staff (which has significant momentum and gyroscopic tendencies),
build awareness of it's range and properties, teach handling techniques,
and build arm strength and flexibility.
All exercises should be done with both arms.
Note that the names below have been coined for this web-site as
descriptive mnemonics.
