Grading Fees

The Oxford club aims to hold at least 3 grading exams each year (usually in March, June and December) at which students are tested on their ability to understand and perform elements of the SulKiDo syllabus.

Gradings (8 gup and above) typically last for 3 hours and are conducted by either Master M.Y. Kim (7th Dan, the head of SulKiDo) or another external Master-graded instructor. The Yellow-Tag grading is conducted locally and is free to Oxford members.

In order to take a grading a student must be a member of the UKSF (United Kingdom SulKiDo Federation) and pay a grading-specific fee. Membership of UKSF costs £30 (we usually manage to subsidise this out of Oxford funds).
