Safe Training
O.U. SulKiDo has an excellent safety record, due in large part to the
mature and responsible attitude of its members.
The club atmosphere is fairly informal, but there are a few general
safety guidelines:
-
The most important rule is self-control and respect for other members.
-
The instructor must be made aware of any disability you have, whether
temporary or permanent. This will allow us to advise on any modifications
to normal training that are necessary.
-
You cannot train after consuming any alcohol or other
mind-altering drugs.
-
Jewelry must be removed, including non-metallic items in which fingers
could get caught.
-
Finger and toe-nails should be made safe to avoid lacerating partners.
-
You should not train when ill, this is dangerous to yourself and it's
also anti-social to infect the other members.
