The SulKiDo Syllabus
The student syllabus is divided into 9 levels, and interested members can take
exams (called `gradings') to progress from one to the next. Each grading
consists of a core of
forms,
strikes and
soo
techniques plus additional items.
The names denote the colour of belt worn by people at each level (`gup').
Once full black belt is reached the SulKiDo syllabus continues as dan grades.
In addition to the formal grading aspects indexed above, we also teach
striking,
stretching,
bag-work,
floor techniques,
sparring, pure self-defence and aim to educate
everyone in the underlying biomechanics involved. Plus of course, we
organize various fun
events...
