RoboGreek facilitates the typing of accented Unicode Greek. It now exists in both a Mac and a Windows version.
Windows: the Windows version is a small app that does not need any installation. Just double-click and the programme starts to monitor the keyboard. Click on the small icon in the icon-tray, or press Alt-0 (zero), and you will start typing UniCode Greek in any Unicode-supporting Windows programme. The keyboard is the same as the WinGreek keyboard, and accents and breathings can be added (details can be found in the programme itself). Press Alt-0 again to turn it off.
The Mac version is a keyboard bundle, which reprogrammes the CapsLock key as a switch between an ordinary keyboard and the Greek one.

RoboGreek Standard works on XP, Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 10. The program monitors the keyboard at low level, so some anti-virus programmes may get a bit anxious, but there is no virus!

When copying text from a PDF or DJVu document, it is often the case that what began life as a paragraph of continuous text becomes a series of separate lines once it has been pasted. To further add to the misery, if the text in the original document is hyphenated, all these hyphens have to be removed. Some PDF readers such as Acrobat process the text when you copy it to remove these extra line-breaks, but they usually leave the hyphens intact. PDF Copier was written to deal with these problems. It monitors the clipboard, and if any text is copied from a PDF viewer (it currently recognises Acrobat, PDFXChange, Foxit, Sumatra) or WinDJView, it will attempt to remove the line-breaks and the hyphens, so when you paste your text, all will be well (though it will usually delete real line breaks between paragraphs).
To start the program, just double-click the file. An icon will appear in the icon tray, illuminated green to show that it is active. To disable it at any time, left-click the icon - the light will go out, and the app will no longer make any changes when copying text. To re-enable, click the icon again. The program has been tested on Windows 10, though should work on Windows 7 upwards. If you switch very quickly from the PDF viewer to wherever you are going to paste the text, you may find that the text has not been processed: if this happens, try again and give the app half a second to register what is happening.

Stuck with a meaningless abbreviation? Just double-click AP Expander and all will be revealed. AP Expander will give you the full journal title from any Annee Philologique abbreviation, and can also perform the reverse function, and give you the abbreviation for any journal title. Again, no installation required, just download and run. I made this app many years ago, and so it may not have the latest journals. If there are any problematic omissions, do let me know.
