Please note: Our two keynote speakers have swapped their speeches on short notice, due to an unexpected illness.
Candace Vogler will now speak on Saturday, and Jennifer Saul on Sunday.
Welcome to Oxford's Philosophy Graduate Conference!
The Oxford Philosophy Graduate Conference is, without doubt, one of the most prestigious philosophy conferences on a graduate level in the United Kingdom, and maybe even in the world. It is our aim to give young talents in philosophy a platform to present and exchange their ideas, with each other, the faculty of philosophy at Oxford, and our visitors.
This year, we are proud to announce that Candace Vogler (Chicago) and Jennifer Saul (Sheffield) have agreed to give keynote speeches at our conference, which will be held on the weekend of the 17-18th November 2012. More details on the programme will become available later.
We invite all graduate students working in philosophy to submit papers, which we accept from now till 18th August. Papers will be subjected to double blind peer review, and can be on any topic in academic philosophy. You can find more details in our Call for Papers or on this homepage.
The Faculty of Philosophy at Oxford has been consistently ranked as one of the best in the world, and our conference is an expression of the lively philosophical community in Oxford. We would be very happy to welcome you as a presenter or guest at our conference, which is free of charge.
