• Daily management of laboratory environments including cleanliness, waste handling, and chemical storage
• Inventory tracking, procurement coordination, and supplier communication
• Maintaining continuity of research activities through proactive problem-solving

Health, Safety and Compliance

• Preparation and maintenance of COSHH and risk assessments
• Ensuring compliance with university and regulatory safety requirements
• Promoting best practices and strong safety culture among researchers

Equipment and Facilities

• Procurement, installation, and commissioning of research equipment
• Coordination with facilities teams, contractors, and technical services
• Maintenance and troubleshooting of gloveboxes and electrochemical systems

Training and Collaboration

• Training students, postdocs, and visitors in laboratory procedures and equipment use
• Supporting interdisciplinary collaboration across research groups
• Acting as a key point of contact for lab-related technical issues
