Any member of the college, irrespective of their religious affiliation, is welcome to call on him in Besse Staircase, room 11 on any matter of concern, whether on sorrow or joy. He lives in South Oxford with his wife Penny and a second hand cat. (Tel. 01865 728122). The Chaplain is also a Tutor in Theology at the University, as well as being a Director of Ordinands for Oxford Diocese. He is also an enthusiastic rock climber, mountaineer and runner in his spare time.

The Chapel Clerk is Michael Leyden who can be contacted at michael.leyden@spc.ox.ac.uk. He is a 2nd Year Theologian, and lives in Staircase II, Room 14.

Dr Roger Allen specialises in music of the late nineteenth century with research interests in Wagner and Bruckner and associated issues in the philosophy and aesthetics of music. He is editor of the Journal of the Wagner Society of London and current research projects include the preparation of new critical translation of some of Wagner's prose works. He is also active as a performer and contributes to the musical life of St Peter's as pianist, organist and conductor.

MASTER OF THE COLLEGE

The Master of the College, Professor Bernard Silverman, is a priest in the Church of England and takes an active part in the ministry of the College Chapel. He also has an association with the parishes of St Margaret's and St Giles in North Oxford.

Rory McCleery is the senior organ scholar and, assisted by the junior organ scholar, is responsible for conducting and accompanying the choir and playing for the twice weekly evensong services. Rory is in his second year reading music and is a keen singer as well as an organist. He is a member of the choir of St. Mary Magdalene in Oxford and also sings with the Rodolfus choir.
