The Chapel of St. Peter’s College is the former Parish Church of St. Peter le Bailey (1874). It is one of Oxford’s largest and most versatile performing spaces and in addition to the regular pattern of term-time worship the generous acoustic makes it a much sought after venue for concerts and recitals.

The Chapel Choir is a twenty-five strong mixed voice ensemble consisting of twelve choral scholars and a number of volunteer singers admitted by audition. The choir is directed and administered by the organ scholars and is actively supported by the Fellow and Tutor in Music, Dr Roger Allen, who both sings as a regular member and directs the occasional service. There are presently four awards available each year with no restrictions as to voice type. Choral Scholars sing in the two weekly services (Evensong on Sundays and Thursdays during full term) and play a leading role in the musical life of the College. The Thursday service is often followed by a short recital given by a member of the College before the choir dines together in Hall as a group. This social cohesion has become an important feature of the choir in recent years. The annual Choir Dinner, held early in Trinity Term is a highlight of the social calendar.
