Scholarships

St Peter’s normally expects to elect an Organ Scholar in alternate years but this may vary according to circumstances. Choral Scholars are elected every year and receive at present £200 per year in addition to singing tuition and thanks to a number of generous benefactions there are also additional named scholarships providing significant financial help that are awarded entirely on merit in recognition of individual contributions to the choir. It is not a requirement that Organ and Choral Scholars read for a degree in Music and applications are welcomed from across the disciplines.
