I primarily teach Sanskrit language and literature, including Ancient Indian grammatical literature and Vedic Sanskrit. I also teach Avestan and Indo-Iranian historical and comparative linguistics. I have also taught widely in Linguistics, particularly in syntax and semantics.
I am happy to consider supervising Masters or DPhil projects on topics in Sanskrit language or literature, ancient Indian grammar, Indo-Iranian philology, linguistic analysis of Indo-Aryan languages, and theoretical syntax or semantics.
