Sweeping

Once students have mastered safe breakfalling techniques they begin to learn sweeping methods.

	The simplest form of a sweeping technique is a simply trip move, as seen here in one of the Ki Bon Soo techniques.

	A more advanced sweep from the Jap Ki techniques illustrates how to trip an opponent from ground level.

	A wide leg scissor may be used to sweep an opponent backwards by levering against the front of their chest and the rear of their knees simultaneously. The variant shown is part of the Jap Ki methods.
