The optical research of the group has the aim of enabling our collaborators to perform
effective research by offering advanced microscopy techniques in a form that can be used routinely.
Our focus over the last few years has been fluorescence lifetime imaging microscopy (FLIM)
and associated processing, alongside techniques for the quantitative analysis of biological samples.
More recently we have made our work more directly relevant to medicine and the clinic environment.
