City of Death and The Girl in the Fireplace
We’re starting this term with City of Death – the Fourth Doctor and Romana are enjoying a holiday in Paris when they discover several Mona Lisas and an alien conspiracy that could result in the loss of all life on Earth... Then, in The Girl in the Fireplace, the Tenth Doctor ends up on a spaceship with several portals to pre-revolutionary France, carefully arranged along the life of 18th Century French courtesan Madame de Pompadour.
2nd Week Thursday 30th January, 8pm

The Aztecs
The First Doctor and his companions find themselves stranded in 15th Century Mexico; Barbara is mistaken for an ancient goddess and forbids human sacrifice, but can she change history without disastrous consequences? This episode will be shown with info-text/narration by our very own Matthew Kilburn.

The Curse of Peladon
The Third Doctor lands on the planet Peladon and soon finds himself chairing a committee assessing Peladon's petition to join the Galactic Federation. However, when one of the King's advisors is killed, can the Doctor uncover the identity of the saboteurs before a major diplomatic incident plunges them into war?
4th Week Thursday 13th February, 8pm

The Empty Child & The Doctor Dances, with Society Elections
In this two-parter, the Ninth Doctor arrives in London during the Blitz, where a group of homeless children are terrorised by an "empty" child wearing a gas mask. This week's regular meeting will be followed by our annual elections, so start thinking about running for committee positions!
5th Week Thursday 20th February, 8pm

The Geek Quiz
In the legendary Geek Quiz, members of Oxford's geekiest societies get together in order to battle it out for the crown of "team who won that term". If you can write a round not entirely related to Doctor Who, bring it along. A really fun evening, and who knows, you might actually know an answer occasionally...

The Enemy of the World
In The Enemy of the World, the majority of which was missing until very recently, the Second Doctor is subject to an assassination attempt due to his uncanny resemblance to scientist and politician Salamander. Can the Doctor expose Salamander's schemes before he takes over the world?

Decades Marathon
This term’s marathon is based around portrayals of the 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s, so we’ll be watching The Curse of Fenric (Seventh Doctor), The Idiot's Lantern (Tenth Doctor), The War Machines (First Doctor), The Green Death (Third Doctor) and The Tenth Planet (First Doctor) respectively.

Eighth Week is Eighties Week! While investigating a vanishing Concorde at Heathrow Airport, the Doctor and his companions are thrown back in time, when a mysterious alien called Kalid is trying to control the ancient powers of the Xeraphin.
