1st Week	Sunday 19th January, 7:10pm Lecture Theatre, Mansfield College	Nikola Tesla’s Night of Terror 1903. Who or what is sabotaging Nikola Tesla's generator plant at Niagara Falls? And has this maverick inventor really received a message from Mars? Watch episode 4 with us live on a big screen!
1st Week	Thursday 23rd January, 8pm Seminar Room, Corpus Christi	Smith and Jones and Day of the Clown We start 2020 by going far back, to the nostalgic year of... 2007. The Tenth Doctor meets a young medical student, Martha Jones, as they wind up surrounded by a platoon of Judoon on the moon! Can they escape both their brutal methods, as well as a killer on the loose, in Smith and Jones? We follow this with 2008’s Day of the Clown from The Sarah Jane Adventures, featuring Series 12 cast Anjli Mohindra and Bradley Walsh. Just after losing Maria to the US, Sarah Jane, Luke and Clyde face the most terrifying creatures the Whoniverse has to offer – clowns.
2nd Week	Sunday 26th January, 7:10pm Lecture Theatre, Mansfield College	Fugitive of the Judoon Stomping their way into present-day Gloucester, the Judoon are on the hunt for someone on the run. Who is this fugitive? And why are these alien mercenaries after them? Oh look, more Judoon – you’d almost think it was planned. In any case, come watch it with us live on a bigger screen than your laptop, we bet.
2nd Week	Thursday 30th January, 8pm Seminar Room, Corpus Christi	The Dalek Invasion of Earth The Daleks are back! The breakout stars of Season 1, they return stronger than before, no longer stuck on Skaro. Now... well, the title says it all, really, in The Dalek Invasion of Earth. Can the First Doctor, Ian, Barbara and Susan survive this time? Will humanity? Or will the Daleks become the true Masters of Earth?
3rd Week	Sunday 2nd February, 7:10pm Lecture Theatre, Mansfield College	Praxeus What connects a missing astronaut in the Indian Ocean, birds behaving strangely in Peru and a US naval officer who washes up on a Madagascan beach? Team Tardis investigate. Watch episode 6 with us live on a big screen!
3rd Week	Thursday 6th February, 8pm Seminar Room, Corpus Christi	Vincent and the Doctor and A Town Called Mercy Happy birthday! On his 10-year anniversary, we revisit one of the Eleventh Doctor’s most beloved episodes, as well as one of his more over-looked. Vincent and the Doctor sees the Doctor and Amy meet the famous painter, and battle a terror from outer space, as well as troubles that stem from somewhere all-too-human. Following this is the Doctor, Amy and Rory’s visit to the Wild West, in A Town Called Mercy. Haunted by the mysterious Gunslinger, can the Doctor save their metaphorical souls without losing his own?
4th Week	Sunday 9th February, 7:10pm Lecture Theatre, Mansfield College	Can You Hear Me? From ancient Syria to present day Sheffield, and out into the wilds of space, something is stalking the Doctor and her friends. As Graham, Yaz and Ryan return home to see friends and family, they find themselves haunted by very different experiences. Who is the figure calling from beyond the stars for help, and why? And what are the fearsome Chagaskas terrorising Aleppo in 1380? To find the answers, Team Tardis embark on a mission that forces them to face their darkest fears. 4th Week	Thursday 13th February, 8pm Seminar Room, Corpus Christi	Time of the Doctor with special guest Mike Tucker This week, we’re hosting BAFTA-winning special effects artist Mike Tucker, who has worked on Doctor Who since the 1980’s! By his choice, we’re watching The Time of the Doctor, the swansong of the Eleventh Doctor as he fights to save both the town of Christmas and his own people, as a showcase of the effects work of the Model Unit. We’ll follow this with an interview, so if you’ve ever wanted to know/ask about how the Special Effects are put together, now’s the time to find out.
5th Week	Sunday 16th February, 7:10pm Lecture Theatre, Mansfield College	The Haunting of Villa Diodati "Nobody mention Frankenstein. Nobody interfere. Nobody snog Byron." Should be easy, right? The Doctor and her gang arrive at the Villa Diodati at Lake Geneva in 1816 on the night that inspired Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein. The plan is to spend the evening soaking up the atmos in the presence of some literary greats, but the ghosts are all too real, and the Doctor is forced into a decision of earth-shattering proportions. Watch episode 8 with us live on a big screen!
	Tuesday 18th February, 8pm Seminar Room, Corpus Christi	The Five Doctors and The Five(ish) Doctors Reboot We're trying something new for Fifth Week, as we move to Tuesday to watch the 20th anniversary special, The Five Doctors, as well as its 2013 ‘followup’, The Five(ish) Doctors Reboot. Witness as Doctors 1, 2, 3 and 5 struggle to escape Gallifrey’s Death Zone, filled with their most deadly enemies, as a conspiracy threatens to overthrow Time Lord society. Then, witness as actors Peter Davison, Colin Baker and Sylvester McCoy attempt to escape irrelevance and find a role in the 50th anniversary special, The Day of the Doctor.
	Thursday 20th February, Time TBC Location TBC	The Geek Quiz In the legendary Geek Quiz, members of Oxford's geekiest societies get together to battle it out for the crown of "team who won that term". If you can write a round not entirely related to Doctor Who, bring it along. Please ensure your round is visual – make a PowerPoint with each question displayed on a different slide. Our society usually divides up into a few different teams – come along and help us beat those pesky TrekSoc-ers!
6th Week	Sunday 23rd February, 7:10pm-ish Lecture Theatre, Mansfield College	Ascension of the Cybermen The aftermath of the Great CyberWar. The Doctor arrives in the far future, intent on protecting the last of the human race from the deadly Cybermen. But in the face of such a relentless enemy, has she put her best friends at risk? What terrors lie hiding in the depths of space, and what is Ko Sharmus? Watch episode 9 with us live on a big screen!
6th Week	Thursday 27th February, 8pm Seminar Room, Corpus Christi	Vengeance on Varos and Committee Elections! Sixth week means Sixth Doctor, as we watch Vengeance on Varos. (Many say it’s a classic!) When the TARDIS runs low on Zeiton-7, the Doctor and Peri are trapped on Varos, a world where the only entertainment is violence, broadcast live on television. The 80’s were never subtle with satire. Can the Doctor bring down the ruling elite, as well as the capitalist Sil, before his own death is broadcast opposite space-Coronation Street? Stick around afterwards for elections, because we need someone to run WhoSoc for another year, and it could be your chance to put your mark on our 31-year-old-and-counting society.
7th Week	Sunday 1st March, 6:50pm Lecture Theatre, Mansfield College	The Timeless Children In the epic and emotional series finale, the Cybermen are on the march. As the last remaining humans are ruthlessly hunted down, Graham, Ryan and Yaz face a terrifying fight to survive. Civilisations fall. Others rise anew. Lies are exposed, truths are revealed, battles are fought, and for the Doctor — trapped and alone — nothing will ever be the same again. Watch the series 12 finale with us live on a big screen!
7th Week	Thursday 5th March, 6pm Mamma Mia Pizzeria, Jericho	Boom Town and Termly Meal As is usual, Seventh Week is our termly meal, at one of Oxford’s many restaurants and food joints, this time followed by Boom Town. The Ninth Doctor, Rose, and newly arrived Captain Jack stop off in Cardiff to visit Mickey, but their good time is ruined when they find out that the mayor is an old foe. As the Doctor takes them out to dinner, have they truly reformed? Or does a person’s past define them forever?
8th Week	Thursday 12th March, 8pm Seminar Room, Corpus Christi	Fourth Doctor 4-Parters Randomiser (and Committee Meeting) WhoSoc wouldn’t be WhoSoc these days without a randomizer, and we’re returning to the well of stories we’d never otherwise watch, by picking a random Fourth Doctor four-parter (No guarantee of the 1980’s sadly). Join us to watch Tom Baker do some distinctly Tom Baker-y things, perhaps accompanied by Liz Sladen, Louise Jameson, Mary Tamm or Lalla Ward, and stay for our committee meeting afterwards, where we decide what we’re watching next term!
